Bean Fosters Opening A Second Location Near Ken Caryl

in Business/Business Spotlight/Drinking & Dining

Starting this Saturday, April 13th, you’ll have a new place to get your caffeine fix. Bean Fosters, which opened 6 years ago, in Golden, is expanding and opening a second shop in Littleton. The newest Beans Foster is moving into the old Starbucks spot, at Jefferson Village (Kipling & C-470).

Grand Opening, April 13th 2019
Grand Opening, April 13th, 2019

You can expect a similar vibe to their Golden location, which is part coffee shop, part book store. Although due to the smaller space, they won’t sell used books at their new location. The fresh, locally-roasted, single-origin craft coffees, teas. and homemade syrups will all be the same. Added bonus, in Littleton, they’ll also serve Nitro Cold Brew and Kombucha on tap!

Better still, as a way of giving back to the community, Bean Fosters is donating 50% of their Grand Opening Day(4/13) sales to The Action Center. The doors will open at 7 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. so be sure to stop by, grab a cup of coffee and welcome them to the neighborhood. Best yet, the first 100 paying customers will also receive a Free Drink Card (limit 1 per person) to be used on a future visit (not 4/13), so get their early!

in Drinking & Dining

Please proceed with caution. After reading through this list, your productivity may diminish and your desire for a burrito will be heightened. Happy National Burrito Day 2019!

I have never typed with such a loud grumble in my stomach. Ironically, I’m running through my favorite deals right now while my 9 month old baby girl is wearing a bib that reads: “I know, Guac is extra” beside me.  (I’ll post the photo on Instagram within the hour).

Skip I-70 traffic to Breckenridge with a free helicopter ride

in Contests & Giveaways/Drinking & Dining

Getting to ski country in Colorado this season has proven to be a potentially and day-ruining wild experience. From extremely long delays to car-engulfing avalanches, the odds of getting to the mountain on time are stacked against you. Instead of relying on I-70 to get to the slopes, ski-fans will now have the opportunity to skip the risk of traffic jams entirely…by arriving via helicopter.

Thanks to Breckenridge Brewery, you and a plus-one will have the chance to win a weekend getaway to Breckenridge with an exclusive helicopter ride to get there – skipping all the traffic to the slopes

Just in time for Colorado Craft Beer Week, here’s the latest on Denver’s brewing scene

in Business/Drinking & Dining

Here’s a solid excuse to drink: Colorado Craft Beer Week kicks off this weekend and continues through March 23, with festivals, pairings and an entire day midweek dedicated to downing local pints.

Starting on Saturday, Collaboration Fest brings some 200 brewers to the Hyatt Denver to show off around 100 beers they brewed together (how sweet). Colorado Pint Day takes place on Wednesday; breweries around the state will be tapping special kegs and donating $1 for each pint they sell to the nonprofit Colorado Brewers Guild. And for the real aficionados out there, The Big Reveal on Saturday, March 23, lets 100 ticket-buying beer drinkers blind-taste 20 American IPAs and vote for the best in the state.
