The Denver Broncos are expected to have at least 43 players at rookie minicamp this weekend, including 20 tryout players.

One of the rookies trying out for the team is CSU-Pueblo running back Bernard McDondle, who is from Littleton, Colorado.

As a senior at Columbine High School, McDondle rushed 178 times for 1,754 yards and 25 touchdowns, averaging 9.9 yards per carry. In 2011, he helped Columbine defeat Lakewood 41-31 in the 5A state championship at the Broncos’ stadium.
