Doing Good – Littleton Car Cruise

in Community/Weekend Events

Calling all classic and cool car owners. Here’s your chance to cruise and do good for your local Littleton community.

The Reel Factory and Behind The Scenes Tap House, both in Littleton, are organizing a cruise this Saturday, August 29th.  Cars will meet in their parking lot, located at 10488 W Centennial Rd, Littleton, CO 80127, and head off from there to the Open Arms Food Pantry. Each car is asked to bring donations for them. Volunteers will be there ready to grab donations out of the cars as we drive by, ideally no stopping.

Faith Community Church is the next spot on the cruise. The Severe Weather Shelter Network will have volunteers collecting cold-weather items that the cars are being asked to also bring with them.

The finale will be cruising by 2 (maybe 3) Nursing Homes. This part is a lot of fun! The staff at each assisted living center will have their residents outside waiting to watch us drive through their parking lot. We don’t stop just drive by and wave/honk. The residents love it!

Then any cars that would like to come back to our building can and Behind the Scenes will be selling some discounted breakfast burritos to participants.

Visit their Facebook page for more details.
