COLORADO, USA — Health officials announced Colorado’s first presumed positive case of the new coronavirus, COVID-19, on Thursday, March 5. Since then, numerous other presumed positive cases have been confirmed.
As the COVID-19 coronavirus spreads, sports leagues, conferences, events and musical acts are all reconsidering regular plans.
Here’s the latest on what’s happening in Littleton.
City of Littleton — All City of Littleton buildings including the Littleton Center, Bemis Library, the Littleton Museum, the Littleton Municipal Court and Belleview Service Center are closed until further notice. In addition, all public meetings, including city council meetings, are suspended until further notice.
Foothills Park & Recreation District — All Foothills Park & Recreation District facilities will be closing to the public effective March 14 until March 29.
Strike Up the Band Concert — Concert from the Highlands Ranch Concert Band and the Over the Hill Band planned for Sunday, March 15 has been canceled.
Town Hall Arts Center — Town Hall Arts Center will close to the public from March 14 until March 29.
