Littleton Educator Lured HS Student to Home: Police

LITTLETON, CO – More details emerged Tuesday about the arrest of a former Jefferson County School District administrator arrested last week who is facing charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor by providing alcohol to an underage person, a Class 4 felony.

Michael Shey Pate, 38, resigned from his position as assistant principal of Carmody Middle School, 2050 S Kipling St. in Denver after being arrested Mar. 1 around 8 a.m. at his home in Littleton.

A police affidavit, obtained by Denver7, said the older brother of a male Dakota Ridge High School student called police on Feb. 7 and reported a possible sexual assault of his brother.
