Littleton Police taking back unwanted prescription drugs April 27

in Government

Do you have any leftover medications in your house from surgery or a dental procedure? You may not even remember that you have them. We recommend taking a few minutes to go through your cabinets and drawers and check. If you find anything then this Saturday is the perfect time for you to get them out of your house. You can keep your family safe by preventing pill abuse and theft by getting these potentially dangerous, unused and unwanted pills out of your house.

The Littleton Police Department (LPD)and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will accept any pills and patched from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.,  at the Littleton Center front parking lot at 2255 W. Berry Ave in Littleton. LPD cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
