Fabulous Food. Family. Fine Dining. Fun. Take your pick. You will find all these things at HiLo, An American Eatery, in Littleton.
HiLo opened last Fall, in the former Bacco Trattoria location, near C-470 & Kipling St. Started by the husband-and-wife team, Chef Greg and Jodi, they wanted to bring a family-friendly, fine dining experience to SW Littleton. Capitalizing on Chef Greg’s years of experience at upscale restaurants and as a personal chef, their focus is on food made from scratch.
HiLo is open for dinner and lunch and has Happy Hour from 2-5. Happy Hour offers reduced price wines ($5) and beers ($4), along with appetizer specials including homemade pizzas. Some of the customer favorites from the menu are the Cavatappi Pasta with Chicken, Braised Beef Short Ribs, Crispy Crab Cakes, and Lobster Ravioli.
Be sure to save room for dessert. You won’t want to miss the Flourless Chocolate Cake, Sticky Toffee Cake, Crème Brule, and Mom’s Warm Apple Crisp. Try one, try all. You won’t be disappointed. They also feature gelato from Gelato & Co., in Highlands Ranch. Not only is the gelato delicious but it allows HiLo to support and promote another small business in our local community.
Their recent remodel improved the atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant so that it now matches the caliber of their food. In addition to indoor dining, they offer outdoor dining, carry out, delivery and catering.
It’s been an interesting journey since their opening last Fall, to say the least. They’ve had more challenges than they could have ever anticipated due to Covid but they made it through. Now, it’s time to celebrate and have an official Grand Opening! The Grand Opening will include ribbon-cutting, live music, free drinks, and bite-sized passed appetizers. It’s happening on June 1st from 3:30-5:00. Call (303)979-2665 to RSVP if you’d like to join the celebration. Due to COVID regulations, an RSVP is required.
The bottom line is that HiLo, An American Eatery is a great addition to the Littleton dining scene and you should give it a try!
